I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather this weekend! Our class visited the Hartland Fire Department this week and learned a lot about fire safety. Be sure to talk with your family about an escape plan and a family meeting place, and check/replace the batteries in your smoke detectors. Our fire fighters do a great job of keeping us safe. We had a wonderful day on Tuesday enjoying the day on the farm!!  We rotated through five stations - picking gourds, an I Spy hayride, time in the farm yard with lots of animals, learning about and holding baby chicks, and doing some farm chores.  We enjoyed lunch in the "Farm Cafeteria" (aka picnic tables outside) and then searched the corn maze for clues with our fancy new QR code readers on our phones.  Thank you to all of the chaperones that joined us!!
